The Smitten Kitten does indeed rock.

Cafe Barbette 1/25/2010
Birchwood Cafe 1/25/2010
This is by far to coolest cafe in Minneapolis if you care about social responsibility, good honest organic food, and supporting local economy. They walk their talk and have everything from the freshest salads & sandwiches to gourmet desserts to wine to organic baby food. Up-and coming, this restaurant is gaining national attention with awards and write-ups in glossy magazines. Go there!
Acadia Cafe 1/25/2010
Those who remember the old Riveside Cafe will know this historic building. 28 quality beers on tap, 40 more in bottles, wine, cocktails, pretty good food, adequate service. This is a gem for the young & broke, what with good happy hour specials and no-cover live bands. Occasional all-ages shows, too.
